Welcome to the Employment Resource Committee Website. Formerly known as the Inter-Agency Vocational Placement Committee, this group has served the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario for over ten years. Comprised of government, profit and non-profit organizations, our group members work together to network and share information regarding employment development in our community. Our objectives include:

We promote linkages and partnerships between member agencies as well as to increase employment opportunities for our clients within the community. It is also important to know that we provide a forum for sharing information regarding other services and funding that may be available to our committee members and their clients.

Special projects in employment development and opportunity is one objective of the Employment Resource Committee. Our committee believes that sharing information will provide a win-win situation for both our member agencies and our clients, as well as the community as a whole.
